Hi I'm Justin Tolman,

I work as a software engineer in Boise Idaho, developing full stack web and mobile applications. I have a future-focused standards based approach to development, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve my skills and expand my knowledge.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies focusing on Linguistics and Computer Science from Boise State University.

I have a passion for learning and creating, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve my skills and expand my knowledge. Some of my current interests include: 3D printing, virtual reality, and machine learning.

About the Site

The site is built on easy-http2-ws, a Node.js module that I built for quick deployment of webservers with HTTP2 and websocket capabilities with minimal setup and configuration. It allows access to the underlying modules for advanced configuration and customization. HTTP/2 server push is turned on by default, and the multiplexing and server push capabilities allow small files to be searved quickly and efficiently, so there's no need to bundle files together into giant monoliths or combine images into spritesheets.

The background water animattion was modified into a WebComponent from a page by Mr. doob. And the 3D applications run on Three.js.

Capy the capybara virtual assistant is an updated version of a virtual assistan program that I wrote in college.
